Queen of the Oddballs by Hillary Carlip

In this crazy, fun memoir Hillary Carlip tells about her reign as queen. As a child, she took dance classes with Jamie Lee Curtis and Corben Bernsen, had a bit part in "Xanadu" with Olivia Newton-John, created a fake girl group that had a hit song, and won on "The Gong Show", among many other amazing adventures. Her audacity, courage and willingness to go above and beyond make her an excellent role model for women everywhere. (For Pete's sake, her SHOES had a cameo in 'Steel Magnolias'!) Read this!

And as an added bonus, here is a video of the act that earned Hillary a perfect 30, and won "The Gong Show".
